What is a HomeCard?
Your HomeCard is your very own private, password protected website - everything you need from 'Finding to Funding to Furnishing' your home. With your HomeCard you can search for properties, set up automatic email alerts, bookmark favorite listings. Your HomeCard lets you store documents on-line, apply for loans on-line and compare various home service providers such as landscape gardeners or moving companies. Finally, be sure to check your HomeCard frequently because we regularly post information regarding 'Just Listed' homes, 'Recent Sales' and other area market statistics.
Searching the MLS:
Minimal Requirements for your Search:
The two minimal requirements are Area or City (See MLS Area Map link or select the city of your choice) and your Price range.
You can either click Search, Email Alert or Save:
Click Search to return the results to your screen.
Click Email Alert to create an Email Alert for this search.
Click Save to save this search for use again later.
When you find searches you may want to repeat you can save them by clicking the Save button to your profile so they will be available the next time you login.
Optional Search Criteria:
Listing Remarks -
Search the listing remarks to search for key words that the Listing Brokers advertised as important to their listed property. They might include huge yard, cul de sac, updated, etc. or which ever select criteria you desire. This is your opportunity to be creative.
If you are looking for dated or distressed property to potentially earn sweat equity type in search terms like fix-up in the Listing Remarks search box.
If you are looking for investment opportunities try entering key search terms like foreclosure, pre-foreclosure, etc., in the Listing Remarks search box. Additional search terms you might consider are short sale, bank owned, lender owned, corp owned which may allow you to close faster than the foreclosure opportunities.
If you desire properties available for quick possession enter quick possession into the Listing Remarks box then click Search.
If you desire to use more than one search term in one search separate the key search words with a comma. For example, "foreclosure,pre-foreclosure".
Please be aware, for any of the above searches, if the Listing Broker, for example, indicated that "This is NOT a foreclosure" it too may be returned in the results due to the key search word(i.e. foreclosure) but obviously they are NOT.
Zip Code –
Enter the zip code for the area you wish to search.
Sub Area -
Also, when you search for Subdivision’s or Sub Area's its best to start your search wide then narrow down as you see the different spellings of the Subdivision’s name. Then you can key in all alternatives, i.e. Wash Park, Washington Park, separated by commas or you may likely miss some listings.
Pierson Map –
Enter the Pierson map page number and the desired section number to search for a specific location.
Search by MLS#
Enter the MLS number of the property you wish to view. Be sure to click the Search By MLS# button or you may receive an error message. You can search for multiple MLS#’s if you separate them with commas.
Search Options
Select options as desired.
View Property List or Map View:
Click the Property List tab (default) to see list of properties or click Map View to see properties mapped out. Hover over the green houses on the map to see more details. If you want to see more click the MLS # link.
When in Focus on a particular listing your Property Tools include:
Save Listing
This saves the listing to your Favorite/Bookmarked Favorites
Request Info
Sends me an email requesting additional information
Email to A Friend
This allows you to send this listing via email to a friend.
Request Appt
This allows you to send me your desired appointment for a private showing of a particular property.
Additional Options when in Focus on a particular listing under Property Links include:
Map Property
Maps the property with Google maps.
Arial Map
View the property from the perspective of being above it.
Google Earth
View the property from the perspective from space and zoom down on it.
Community Info
Get information on your desired community from the US Census Bureau.
School Info
Get school information from IES National Center for Education Statistics.
Mortgage Calculator
Use mortgage calculator to roughly figure your principal payment. Note: this doesn’t include taxes, insurance and PMI if included.
Print Flyer
Print a flyer of your favorite property for review later.
Buyers Market Update aka Automatic Email Alerts:
You can setup auto email alerts which will send you properties as they come available.
Buyers:
Enter your Search Profile from the Search Page and select Email Alerts button. Your HomeCard will then automatically notify you as soon as a property matching your search requirements becomes available.
Sellers:
Set up a broad generic search for a home in your Subdivision (Sub Area). This way you can see what’s moving in your area, for what price properties are being listed and how fast they are selling.
Note: Properties in your Subdivision(Sub Area) may not be returned if it was misspelled or a way other than the way you search for it. To try to avoid this be sure to list different ways it may be known, (i.e. Washington Park, Wash Park) with the comma to separate the values.
Managing Email Alerts:
Be sure not to overlook the Manage Email Alerts link on the side menu. Use this page to manage the properties that have been emailed to you. Additionally, you can type notes for each property in the list, and rate the properties so you can easily find your favorites later!
If you select the named Alert you can manage your email alerts frequency to Daily, Weekly or Monthly depending on your time frame.
Sellers Market Report:
By completing the Sellers Market Report you can get an instant online home valuation report for your home based up market data of other properties comparable to your home in your neighborhood.
This report will generate a range of home values based upon market data. For a more detailed analysis please contact me for your free, no obligation consultation.
Bookmark Favorite Properties:
You can either click Save Listing or bookmark your Favorite Properties to your personal profile. This way when you come back the homes you selected will still be there. As the properties status change you will see the green check mark change to a red x.
Also, when you save or bookmark your favorite properties be sure to enter your personal notes before you click submit. These notes will help you remember your thoughts about that property when you were viewing it and it will provide us with valuable information to assist you with your home search.
Featured Listings:
The Featured Listings button displays all of my listings and my offices listings. If you see a home you like please contact us and we can schedule your private showing.
Find A Loan or Loan Request:
Complete this form and we will forward to one of my Preferred Lender’s who will contact you promptly to discuss your mortgage options. At your request, we will forward your information to multiple lenders who will compete for your business.
All of our Preferred Lenders and experienced and will provide you top quality service.
Documents On-Line:
While we in Colorado may not be used to storing documents online, you may consider it. In other states, where more natural disasters occur, this service can be invaluable. We invite you to give it a try and see if you like it.
Upload Documents:
Upload your documents into this online storage location which you can access the next time you login conveniently from any Internet terminal.
View Documents:
Your uploaded documents are available online for your review from any location. Organize your documents and save them here for potential emergencies.
Home Service Providers:
Find home service providers and vendors who are anxious to earn your business. We contact these companies periodically to confirm that they are still in business. If you have any feed back or experience with these vendors please let us know. If you would like to add your company to this list please contact us for an interview.
Edit Profile:
Update your information to help us learn more about you and your needs. Your information is secure and as mentioned on our website, your privacy is extremely important and we will never rent, trade or sell your information, ever. Please read our Privacy Policy for more detail.

Geographical Limitations:
Please be aware that while the Denver Metro MLS area may include non metro area properties, as submitted by the listing brokers, you may need to search other MLS providers such as IRIS for the Boulder and Northern Colorado Area and or Pikes Peak MLS for the Colorado Springs and southern Colorado area.
